Fr. Jim Liekhus will be the pastor of both St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph beginning July 1, 2011. According to the Code of Canon Law, priests are permitted to say one Mass on a weekday and two on a Sunday, but with permission from his bishop, he can say two on a weekday and three on a weekend. To say more than that requires the permission of the pope. Archbishop Nienstedt has given his permission to all the priests of St. Paul/Minneapolis to say two per weekday and three per Sunday (for these purposes, the Saturday vigil Mass counts towards Saturday, not Sunday.) Below is the upcoming Mass schedule for both parishes.

St. John the Evangelist - 10:30am, 3:00pm Hispanic Sunday.
