Robyn Magalska, Director
Thank you! The 2006 summer youth mission group would like to thank our parishioners for their generous support, most specifically with their Opportunity Outreach collection they took up for our benefit this summer. We would like to do this by showing you some photos and news clips of our trip at Hospitality Sunday this weekend, September 3rd  after the 10am mass in the Community Room. Please join us to hear about our mission trip!

If you are looking for service hours or ways to help out your parish community, there are opportunities to do so at the St. John’s Garage Sale on Saturday, September 9th and at the St. Joe Fall Festival on Sunday, September 17th. Students can help at either parish. Call to sign up or if you would like more information.

Volunteers are needed!  In order to allow for our programs to run more smoothly, we need volunteers (age 21 and older) to make that happen.  There is also need for young adults 18-20 years old. The amount of time and kind of volunteering given can be determined by your availability and desire. Please call the youth office for more information about different ways you can help the youth in our parishes!

Garage Sale, Saturday, September 9

All are welcome to help us raise funds for St. John's at the Interlachen Park Garage Sale by selling food and drinks to the hungry shoppers.  This year the Hispanic Community will join our efforts by offering freshly made tacos for sale—in addition to the usual bratwurst and hot dogs. YOU CAN HELP!! Sign up to volunteer in the Church Foyer. For more information you can also call Chris Henkels (chairperson) at 952-935-3582. Thank you!

* Donate Soda Pop (deliver to the Church by Labor Day Weekend).

* Donate Cookies & Bars (deliver to the Church by Friday, September 8).

* Volunteer to sell food on Saturday.

* Defray food expense with a Cash Donation. (Place in the Sunday Collection Basket marked "Garage Sale.")
