The children learn about God’s love, creation, Jesus, Bible stories, prayer, Christmas, and Easter. There are many creative activities to help the children learn about God and their faith. They will enjoy learning songs to sing in church. If you have not registered your child, please call Margaret Stimmler at 952-935-5536.

Deacon Jim Update

September 13 we met with the surgeon and heard three wonderful words: No More Surgery”. The vertebrae are fusing and coming together at this time in a manner that is supportive to Jim’s spine, the nerves and spinal cord. Jim will soon begin water therapy at Courage Center. You have all been with us through some very hard trying days - months. I’m sure you wondered where God was in all this and I must admit I had my times of asking God why. I’ve always known my prayers are best answered when I leave the timing to God and here we are today almost nine months from when this all began and Jim is healing, Jim is walking with a cane, the infection is gone and we are slowly getting back to “normal”. Sunday after mass we went out to breakfast and I looked at him and said, Jim this is isn’t it wonderful! Jim and I and our family are very grateful to all of you for your prayers and many, many acts of kindness. God bless you all.

                      —Deacon Jim and Char Murphy.
