The St. John’s

faculty had their first Spanish class on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006.  Senora Shrestha, our brilliant Spanish teacher, will be teaching the teachers and a few school office volunteers every Tuesday throughout the entire school year.  This class is being paid for with money from a special grant that the school received to expand the bilingual capabilities of our teachers.  Many parishioners have asked to attend, but due to the specifics of the grant, this class must be for school personnel only.  Wouldn’t it be great if we had many Spanish classes in our parish for anyone who would like to learn to speak the language?
