St. John the Evangelist, through its generosity, made a stand against poverty. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) thanks you. As a result of parish giving, the Archdiocesan CCHD awarded grants to ten local, community-controlled, self-help organizations that address the root causes of poverty through increasing safe, affordable housing, civic participation and business ownership. CCHD provides a hand-up, not a hand-out. For more information about CCHD, please visit www.oovertyusa.org or contact Patrick Ness, local CCHD Coordinator, at (651) 291-4484.
