Butter braid Sales are happening.  Your generosity is appreciated.  The pastries will be delivered Nov.11 and 12 in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas season.  We took orders last weekend without collecting money.  That was not a wise decision.  We need to collect money before we place our order.  If you have ordered and not paid, please mail us a check for your order or stop by with it.  We hope this will not be an inconvenience.
First Reconciliation Preparation has begun.  If you have a second grader we would like to invite their participation in the program.
Adult Bible Study Books ,  Acts , are in.  They may be purchased from Mary Fran in the office. The cost is $10.  Groups seem well established.  If you are having trouble finding a group call Margaret.
Confirmation candidates have been invited to help serve a meal at Holy Rosary Church in south Minneapolis on Monday, Oct. 16.  Families of the Confirmation kids are asked to drive your child.  Help is needed from 4:30–7:PM.  Margaret Stimmler will be there as will Deacon Darrel and his wife Chris.  Hope to see you there.

We need to see that behind each human face, behind each person, there is a singularity, a unique wealth in which believers recognize an intention of God, a plan of love. Life s the gift of God’s love to all. —Monsignor Jean Laffitte, vice president, Pontifical Academy for Life, Interview on March 26, 2006
