Thanksgiving Day Collection As is our custom, there will be a collection at the 9:00 a.m. THANKSGIVING DAY MASS. Because they are outstanding in their "service to the most needy of those in need" in our area, we will divide the collection between Catholic Charities and the Intercongregational Association (ICA) as our continuing contribution to their mission of housing the homeless. Checks with a notation either to ICA or Catholic Charities will be directed to that office; the total of cash and checks without a notation will be divided equally to those charities. Thank you for your generosity which is an act of thanksgiving to God who provides so much for most of us. —Father Ralph |

PARKING AT ST. JOHN'S CAN BE A PROBLEM: As winter and snow time approaches, we know the streets, especially Preston Lane, will be more narrow. Please remember not to park on our neighbors' lawns, or in their drive-way space. Please remember to use the school play ground as parking space; that may reduce the possibility of your car being side-swiped! |
