Registrations for the new school year will be in the mail June 2nd. Please fill them out and return before the summer kicks in and you forget.
Volunteers are needed. I know you don’t want to think that far ahead BUT the Faith Formation Program needs people to be there in the classroom for the children. This year we had some wonderful volunteers, but we didn’t have enough to make the program great. In some areas, we “just got by.” Please consider being a part of this important ministry. Parents, teens, and members of the community without children or grown children are wanted. All your collective wisdom and time is needed. If you didn’t sign up at Time and Talent, it isn’t too late, please call the office and do so now.

Mark Your Calendars!

Save June 23rd for Relay for Life

American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Hopkins/St. Louis Park will be a “celebration of life” at 7 pm June 23rd to 7 am June 24th at Hopkins High School.

It is a family-oriented event designed to be fun and raise funds for the activities of the American Cancer Society, such as research education, advocacy and patient services that help cancer patients make it through their journey.

St. John the Evangelist Church and School will be one big team. Plan to wear your St. John’s School T-shirt and sweatshirts so we can all find each other. This will also help others to know that St. John’s School supports our communities.

Sign up after Mass in the Church Foyer, June 3 and 4. Luminaria to remember loved ones and friends who have had cancer will also be sold for $10 each in the foyer.

All are welcome.
