Share Your Lifetime of Experience - Monday, July 24 at 7 pm at Our Lady of Grace The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) is a Jesuit sponsored organization of men and women over 50 who are retired from full-time work and want to use their talents to help others. IVC volunteers commit 2 days per week to work directly with people who are poor, or with organizations that address the issues that affect the poor. Members gather monthly to prayerfully reflect on their apostolic work, to discover the deeper meaning of the service they do and to find Jesus in their midst. Groundbreaking Ceremony for ICA Monday, July 10 from 5:30–7 pm 13000 St. David Road, Minnetonka The Intercongregation Communities Association (ICA) is building one central site—the ICA Center at St. David This will facilitate the storage and distribution of food items and offer space for their referral services for people in need. We, like most of the Christian churches and synagogues in the Hopkins-Minnetonka area, support them with volunteers, food items, funding, etc. All are welcome to the groundbreaking. “Date Night” on the Andiamo Calling all engaged and married couples! Celebrate Natural Family Planning Week (July 23-29) by attending a “Date Night” on the Andiamo River Boat. The cost is $30/couple which includes a 2 V2 hour cruise on the St. Croix River, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar. The night will entail socializing, food, and a chance to meet other couples.
