The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius The Ignatian Exercises is a prayer experience in which reflective reading of scripture is used to help encounter a loving God. Praying the Spiritual Exercises requires an hour of prayer each day and meeting once a week with a spiritual director. This is an eight-month experience. Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive A big thank you from the Knights of Columbus to all who contributed to our Tootsie Roll Fund Drive in May. Your generosity amounted to a little over $270. Added to donations from St. Joe’s, a check for $625 was forwarded to the Minnesota State Tootsie Roll Drive (K of C) Chairman who will distribute the gift to the Minnesota Special Olympics Fall Classic (40%) and to St. David’s School and Child Development in Minnetonka (60%). Are you looking for something that’s fun for your family and where you can socialize with other single parents? Come with your child(ren) to a Single Parents Potluck. Date Change for ICA Groundbreaking Tues., July 18 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm ( Not Mon., 7/10) 13000 St. David Road, Minnetonka The Intercongregation Communities Association (ICA) is building one central site—the ICA Center at St. David—to facilitate the storage and distribution of food items and offer space for their referral services for people in need. We, like most of the Christian churches and synagogues in the Hopkins-Minnetonka area, support them with volunteers, food items, funding, etc. All are welcome to the groundbreaking.
