Sixteenth & Seventeenth Sundays in Ordinary Time

July 23 & July 30, 2006

Text Box: Hopkins Catholic Youth Ministry
Robyn Magalska, Director
Please keep our Sr. high students and adults in your prayers this week as they are currently on their summer mission trip to North Carolina. The work students will be doing varies. Some may be working in homes of the low-income and some in a home for the elderly disabled building wheelchair ramps, painting, repairing rotted floors and more. Other students may work in low-income daycares, homeless shelters, or food-distribution centers. We look forward to telling you about our experience when we return. Thank you for your financial and prayerful support thus far!
All students should mark their calendars for Tuesday, August 15th for our youth outing to the Twins game vs. the Cleveland Indians. We will meet at St. Joe’s at 6pm and return at approximately 10:30pm (return time varies due to time of game). The cost for the event is $12 and checks can be made to St. John’s. Friends are welcome and permission slips are required for all participants 18 and under. Contact the youth office for more information.

The Money Counter’s Prayer

Blessed is the parishioner...who uses his numbered envelope, who writes the amount in the correct box, seals the envelope without Scotch tape and staples. It makes our work easier. Amen!
