Read-A-Thon Month at Saint John’s School

February is Read-A-Thon month at St. John's School.  The goal is to have fun, to continue to improve the children’s reading skills and to raise money for our school library.  If any of you would like to sponsor a child who reads a certain number of books, we would love to have you participate.  Please call the School Office at 952-935-7787 to volunteer. It is wonderful to hear the students talking about how many books they have read.  Who needs hearts and flowers when you can fall in love with reading?

Jesus’ first disciples were so drawn to him that they left what was familiar to follow and learn. It wasn’t always easy, but they stayed the course.

How awake are we to who Jesus is, and how committed to our choice to follow him are we? This year’s focus for the Evangelization Initiative small groups is on our response to his invitation to “Live in Me.” Sign-up ends February 9.
