Calling All Silent Saints! Our Silent Saints fund is all but depleted after helping out our families last year and this year. If you or someone you know would like to make a lasting contribution to the life of a child, please consider giving to our Silent Saints program. This fund is used only as tuition assistance for children in our school or those who wish to attend. Without your help, we will not be able to offer families the financial support they desperately need to give their children a Catholic education. Please help! Brochures about this worthwhile program are in the kiosk in the church foyer. Thank you so much for your generosity, |

Annual Catholic Appeal Thanks to the generosity of many parishioners. To date we currently have pledges totaling 12 % of our parish goal. Your prayers for the success of the Annual Catholic Appeal and the ministries it supports are still needed, as are pledges and gifts. Each gift is important to the mission of our Archdiocese; it takes many people to form the Body of Christ. No gift is too small. Please return a pledge slip with your response today.

Operation Rice Bowl For thirty-two years Operation Rice Bowl has been extending the love of the Catholic Community in the U.S. to our neighbors in developing nations around the world. Operation Rice Bowl is Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten program that helps us be one with our brothers and sisters in other countries through prayers, activities, and offerings. As we pray, we recognize how Jesus is present to those who suffer. When we fast, we understand how devastating hunger can be. We learn how much is being done by Catholic Relief Services to provide clean drinking water, basic health care, good farming techniques, and income-producing projects. And we give in honor of the many blessings we have received so that others may have life. Our community is participating in Operation Rice Bowl this Lent. Please take a Home Calendar Guide and Rice Bowl for your family and follow the suggested activities during Lent. |
