MISSION: The purpose of the Vocations Committee is to inspire and assist the community of St. John's in fulfilling its mission of fostering vocations, especially to the ordained ministry of priesthood and diaconate, and to the religious life.

The committee educates parishioners in ways of fostering vocations, provides them with resources and opportunities, and coordinates the parish prayer programs for awareness and discernment. Our most recent project is a holy hour of adoration before the exposed Blessed Sacrament after the Wednesday morning school Mass for the express purpose of praying for vocations.

MEMBERS: All are welcome to attend. The current members are Archie Black (chair), Al Kempf, and Karen Fish.

MEETING: The committee meets the second Tuesday of every other month at 3:00 p.m. in the church library.
